My scheduled shoot canceled today so I took a few quick shots of my newest rifle.

The smooth handguard is nice too. (no end cap? I love the look of my YHM 4 rail's end cap).
Raise your black point a bit and the contrast should look even more appealing.

Thanks for the comments.
I played with the black points but loose some of the detail. At home it looks right but on my work computer it is too light. Luckily I know the home computer prints accurately so they are pretty much where they need to be.
Post a pic or yours or PM me. Would like to see your build.

It is mostly going to be a target rifle. Should be able to group shots in a 2" circle from 500 yards. It is considered a varmint or predator rifle but I am not much of a hunter. Might consider hunting some coyotes in the future though.

Target shooting ... that should be fun with this

To a degree yes. Barrel length, twist rate, and ammo all play a significant role as does environmental factors. The shooters ability to shoot an accurate shot also plays a large part. I need some more shooting time.

Very nice pictures Sweet rifle. Would love to see pictures of that shot
group at 500 yards. Others pics of similar on net are impressive results.
You hand loading your own stuff? Am looking to see what I can come up with
my Rem 700 .223 in the coming months. Not hand loading yet. Just seeing
what I can do with what I have for starters. Will be trying a different scope
soon.

I have a studio setup in my loft. This was just a quick couple of shots after I cleaned the rifle.
Setup: super white rolled paper, fold out table, one strobe w/ umbrella 45 degrees to the left of the frame. I was too lazy to setup soft boxes and a 2nd light.
Adjusted white point to blow out the shadows caused from the strobe and some adjustments to mid and black points.

One of my friends reloads and is far more into rifles than I ever will be. He will help me develop the best load for this rifle and I will help purchase supplies and help in reloading rounds.
