I have been contemplating making a switch from Sony to Nikon. I am test driving a Nikon D7000 with the 18-200mm lens. Here is a photo that I did yesterday.

    That's a beautiful picture and the D700 is an awesome camera.

    I too had Sony - a700. I sold the camera, lenses, flashes, etc. and went with Nikon. I bought the D7000 for size and weight. You will LOVE the CLS flash system. No proprietary stuff to deal with. I can put my SB900 inside a softbox and just open the flip up flash on camera and shoot away. It will fire it outside in the sun too. I am liking the skin tones better also. I am happy with the switch.

    Beautiful image great clarity Ron, you won't regret making a move to Nikon, especially the full frame D700.

    Very nice image. The exif data says D7000. Was your post a typo on the camera used?
