Just a personal thing, but the lighting from below on the first two reminds me of summer camp when telling ghost stories and holding the flashlight under the chin. Lighting from below can be kind of harsh and not all that flattering IMO. Good looking model and I like the concept though.

Nikolai, I think you did great on the photography aspect of it.

The eye makeup is very distracting for me as it seems to take away from everything else that looks good. She looks good, the style of the shot, use of a consistent flow of color, are all good as well, that darn eye makeup just doesn't fit in there for me.

Great stuff, Nik. I like 4, 5 and 6 the best. The eye makeup compliments her features and works well for this theme, IMHO. Who did it? Great model.

    Thanks Joel!
Makeup was done by her under my close directions. I wanted to explore the egyptian/aztec vibe she was strongly emitting, hence the makep and the lighting (as if she's on the throne lit from below).

I like them Nik. The eye makeup doesn't seem to go with the shape of her face. for me I think a strong makeup could be very good, but this just seems like it is placed on and almost coloring in the lines by ending at the brow line. I do really like #6. In that shot the makeup goes and the balance of the space is very nice.
