For some reason, when I click on my galleries heading in my navbar, it just takes me to my home page. I dunno when this started, but it needs to be corrected ASAP because right now there is no way to access my photos. Not the best thing for a photography site. :huh

Can someone shed some light? Site's iin my sig.

If you're talking about your Fine Arts Galleries page, then change the link in your navbar to:

    http://korylidstrom.smugmug.com/Fine-Art-Galleries

Smugmug has broken/changed category URLs and the older URLs with spaces in them are broken and you must now use a link with dashes in it.

I reported this problem on my site earlier in the week. Basically SmugMug was not recognising the gallery-specific suffixes on gallery URLs in my links. Later it was not happening and when I contacted SmugMug Help they confirmed it had been fixed.

However I've just noticed the same problem has returned again and I'm not sure what's going on. Now I've seen this thread I'm thinking the problem is SmugMug-wide, not just applicable to me.

You should be all fixed up.

John is right, and we hope to address this internally, sorry for the hassle!

My site, the navbar links to categories fail.
    www.joinrats.com
Examples of failing navbar links would be:
    Enrichment
    Earning Trust
    Rat Health

The Must Must Reads link is a subcategory and it is working.

    Thanks.

Until Smugmug fixes this glitch (which has been this way for a couple days now), you are going to have to look at each category and see what smugmug thinks the "pretty name" of the category is and change your navbar links to link to that. Other people seem to be able to just change the %20 to a dash and it starts to work, but I tried that on one of yours and it didn't work. Alternately, you could ask Smugmug support to fix it for you as I've seen them fixing other people's sites.

Aww, thanks, the rats are back to being their normal troublemaker selves. :)
But - what is wrong with the sitemap:
    http://www.joinrats.com/gallery/8004335_ppoPx
The link works fine for me.

    Thanks.

    Hi :)

I believe I got all the links in your navbar and Sitemap gallery fixed. Please check and let me know if you still see any problems :)

Do I take it that SmugMug Heroes have been finding and changing users' category and/or gallery nice names to overcome some legacy issue that has been found to be causing these problems?

This assistance is very welcome, of course, but is there something users themselves could know about, and which would enable us to fix these problems for ourselves if and when they arise? ne_nau.gif

We made changes to how we parse urls, and those changes broke some urls that we didn't test for, unfortunately. All known cases of breakage have been reverted, so you shouldn't have to do anything at all.

Oh, no, Houston we have a problem. eek7.gif
    www.joinrats.com
Navbar has problem characters for most links (both FF and IE).
The links seem to work, though the characters do nothing.
EDIT - are the codes supposed to be the dashes that separated the links?
EDIT AGAIN - And I did nooothinngggg. :)
