I spent some time with the Ruffs last weekend. How beautiful they are at this time of the year!

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Beautiful images of a bird I have never seen before.

Thanks for the kind comments! They are European waders, Ira, and they were taken in the northern parts of the Netherlands. Numbers of both species are declining, unfortunately.
