    Love everything about the shot.
Though I can hear B.D. "what about this says soup kitchen?" :) Maybe better to let us wonder, but the shot is stellar either way.

Tight shot Swiss! Great edge tension and the eyes have it...it's got me coming and going around the space. I agree with Liz: the title is not important unless it is supported by a series to give it context. As a stand alone shot it offers a boat load of ambiguity and questions that don't have to be answered.

I wouldn't classify this as a street shot per se, as such I'm not so bothered by having it titled with the context of the setting. Thus I opted for the title as that's what it was. I took some time after taking a few shots to chat with the subjects. They were the early birds waiting for the doors to open. I just wish I'd remembered to make a note of the specific location at the time.

If that is what BD would say: since I have not been here for a long time, then i will have to say the same thing. When I saw the image i thought, "early birds"?

The title is informative, but I don't think it matters that it's a soup kitchen. It's an interesting collection of characters in any event.

    I love this picture.

Since your title doesn't make it or break it, I'd say keep it as a reminder to you of where you took it.

I like the way no one seems to be looking at anyone else in the frame. lots of space in the center, enclosed by people on the edge. interesting...

Very good sense of the street seen. Feels like I am there (and probably want to move on quickly). clap.gif
