Not a Harry Blue Heron

I'm no Harry when it comes to these guys. SOB's stay hiden, far away and only seem to let me see them late evening when my poor 400 doesn't have enough light and I have to bump the ISO up to 1600. No sharp, large size prints here.:cry

I still love these birds though. They're a joy to watch. This guy was by a small island in the middle of a lake.

    Nice job, even with the 1600 ISO they are still nice photos.

    For ISO 1600 these are really nice. Did you use any noise reducing progs? I really like shots like #2 when they are shaking out the feathers. Nice job Khaos

    I use Noise Ninja, the pro version that can handle 16bit files. Great program.
