had some time this afternoon, and my knee wasn't bothering me too bad, so i headed for Juanita Bay Park in Kirkland. spent about 3 hours there, mostly gabbing with some folks i know, but i did manage this shot of a marsh wren - these little guys don't come out in the open much, and they're VERY twitchy and elusive! 40D, 350mm, 1/500 @ f/10...

Very nice image. Terribly skittish little birds. I've been trying to get a good image for a couple of years now.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Nice one, Rocky! This is about the only time of year to photograph these guys!

thanks, guys! these little stinkers are so quick and so difficult to even SEE, that getting a decent shot was a real challenge!
