This weekend was the annual Ladysmith Paddlefest here on Vancouver Island. Kayak and canoe enthusiasts gather at Transfer Beach every year to celebrate their passion for paddling!

And I stop by every year looking for photo opportunities! This year I got some shots of Cody Hartikainen demonstrating how to roll a kayak.
