I have an event gallery with nearly 200 photos that the client has been pouring over since the event. They have been marking the photos they like with a thumbs UP or a Thumbs down.
Is there some place I can retrieve thumbs up selections?
I should have never left this thing on, cuz they are about to release the link to the family and then somone else my be all thumbs.
ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Have you considered using smug's events? http://www.smugmug.com/help/event-marketing

The client can see this and I figured it was some functional feature. How embarrassing if they have been trimming the fat on the 200 with this thing and it does nothing.
So what exactly is the purpose of the GREEN thumbs up and the RED thumbs down feature?
I guess the GREEN and RED Thumbs are completely worthless and non functional and only have caused an embarrassment to me to my client.

Hi ****!
Unfortunately the thumbs are part of our Photo Ranking feature, which also takes other factors into effect like time, comments and star ratings. So there isn't a way to view the tally unless you get enough votes and they'll push those photos into your Popular Photos box.
However, we do have a feature that will make that sort of selection easier for you. It's called Events and Favorites and it's part of our Pro account level:

What you'll need to do is add all your client's galleries to an event, then name the client as a participant. When you save that, you'll get a special link to pass along to them, which is a private link to the event. From there, they'll see red hearts under each photo and they can click the ones they like best. We'll put all of those into a separate gallery for you and them to browse and you can make an album from that.
You'd need to upgrade to give this a try, and we're sorry about the previous confusion. You may want to go and tell your client to leave a comment for their favorite images for now, or just compile a list of image numbers (3, 6, 15, 33, etc).
We hope this helps, but if you have any lingering questions please don't hesitate to write us back.
Cheers,
****
