    Lovely and mystical, but it's not skunk cabbage. It's false hellebore. grows in the same places. I love it.

    Thanks for the correction; I updated the text but apparently I can't update the title. My only reference has a picture of the False Hellebore flower and only a bit of the leaf but I'm sure you are right. Now that I think about it, skunk cabbage stays lower to the ground. I like it too. In spring it is usually the first green in the wetlands.

    Thanks Tom, It was an interesting exercise trying to find a way to highlight the unique shapes and textures of the leaves.
