Little Street Experience - Seeking Feedback

I've been hanging around Dgrin for several months. Love browsing the Street forum, but I've been a bit intimidated about actually getting out and pointing my camera at strangers. Today was our local street fair. I put a 50mm prime on my dslr and gave it a shot. Some were hip shots, other were more direct. Here are a few I thought were worth sharing for feedback.

I'd really appreciate any candid responses or suggestions for doing this better. A the end of the day, was kinda fun.

I think they're pretty cool. I really have no cc, and would love to do something like this. How do you know what you're shooting at (if you're cutting off heads specifically) if you're shooting from the hip? Just curious

cool shots. It may be intimidating at 1st but you gotta get that camera off the hip. You don't have to be pushy or intrusive to get good shots.

Awesome! 2, 3, 4 are my favorites. It's okay to shoot from the hip if it's the most appropriate way to get a shot, but keep pushing yourself. You'd be surprised what you can get away with Keep making yourself be uncomfortable. It means you're learning.
