Had the opportunity to visit Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs this last week while on business. Fantastic place and just wish I had more time to photograph. Here's a few from the trip. C&C welcome!

Great captures of a dramatic landscape. There's something particularly awesome about red rock next to snow-capped peaks. thumb.gif

Thanks, Doug! I agree the rock formations are a stark contrast to the surrounding terrain.

Thanks, Schmoo! I just loved seeing that huge mountain behind those big red rocks!

Nice captures! :) I lived in Colorado for a short time...if you are still there and get closer to Denver (or on your next trip), I highly recommend Roxborough State Park (about 30 min south of Littleton), its like a small, yet different, version of GOG, great place! GOG is great for a quick trip if your in the Springs for a short time.

Thanks! Unfortunately I'm now back in Oklahoma, but maybe I can make it there on the next trip. There isn't a shortage of interesting subjects in Colorado! :D
