I was just being silly with my new flash bracket before I used it for it's intended purpose. Only if Nikon made an SB with 500mm zoom capability. :rofl

Unfortunately, it's not very good in wind and it's fiddly to align and aim.
I suspect that 3 of them on your setup could give some excellent power and recycling capabilities.

Those Better Beamers look like a good buy. Especially for wildlife shooters and such. I may have to pick one up.... as I hear they work pretty good. Fairly cheap too.
I did this flash thing as a joke really but now that I think about it, it could be a good thing! Wouldn't the light be better, since the light source is "bigger"? Softer light? 2 flashes and 1 to bounce off the ceiling too. lol Plus, I could angle the 2 front flashes outwards a little to cover a wider area. No wide angle diffuser needed. Faster recycle time as you mentioned too. This funny set up can actually have serious results!
