Experimental microscape

So I'm continuing to try to make more microscapes in the forest. I'm also incorporating more dappled sun in them because that's part of what makes the forest so magical to me. Sometimes I find that color isn't the way to go even though it may be vivid. This is one of those times, the B&W shows off the textures much, much more. It was the seahorse nature of the new fronds that got to me and boy was that sunlight fast. A couple shots later and it was gone.

Thats impressive! if you don't mind my asking what lens did you use?
because it seems as though you were flat against the ground...or did you dig it up and make at your kitchen table in a bowl?
None the less, I love it :)

thanks. No, this is a found microscape - all of mine are. I'm even weird about cleaning them up too much. I used my Zuiko Digital (Olympus) 12-60mm f2.8-4 zoom lens. It's pretty fab - versatile and very sharp.
