Treetop Sunset

I had a chance to go car camping at Rock Creek Lake on the Eastern Sierra over the weekend. Saturday night the sky looked as if it may rain until around sunset when the clouds started to break. The setting sun produced such an orange glow on everything, it was unbelievable. Due to my limited mobility and the steep bank near the lake, I was unable to get down to the lake for sunset, so I did the next best thing...point the camera up where I was sitting.

So much has changed in our photo-world, and yet basically nothing's changed - It's still the pictures that really matter. David Noton
