Mac multiple uploads fail

Hi everyone,
I see a number of threads on a similar topic but no resolution.
Starting about 2 weeks ago I have been having trouble uploading images to my galleries. The following all fail, meaning zero images have successfully made it to my galleries:
1) From Lightroom, JF's SmugMug plugin, both in publish and non-publish mode
2) From Lightroom, the built-in SmugMug plugin, in publish mode
3) SmugMug's own HTML5 uploader
All upload attempts fail with the same error symptom -- the gallery is created but no image files appear. My upload log shows "Problem: incomplete file" for every upload attempt.
But what works is SmugMug's "old school" one-at-a-time uploader where you have to select each image one at a time.
The platform is a Mac Mini with all the latest everything: Lightroom, Mac OS X, plugins, Java, you name it. Everything's current. Have rebooted, have logged out and in of my SmugMug account. All images fail uploading, every time. It's a hard-wired Gigabit ethernet connection to a cable modem router that is most definitely not having connectivity issues as I run a LOT of network-intensive stuff during the day and night and have no trouble with any other Internet app.
So I went to my age-old XP laptop, pulled up Firefox (XP and Firefox are also the latest versions, fully updated), used the HTML5 uploader, and bang all the images zip right up into my galleries. I don't have Lightroom on this laptop so can't test out the plugins but that should be enough info right there to get some idea that there is a problem on Macs.
I have contacted the Heroes and it has been about 10 days with no useful info at all. I've done traceroutes and speed tests and there are no issues. It is apparently in an engineer's hands now. Along the way one Hero did mention that "We're seeing a lot of issues with multiple uploaders" which is consistent with a few threads here on DGrin and a few other blogs here and there. But nowhere do I see a resolution of the problems.
I am completely stuck and unable to upload my images after years of flawless uploads, except one at a time. I think someone needs to dig into this. IMHO :-)

Thank you for contacting Smugmug. We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing uploading problems.
That you can't use the HTML5 uploader, with the Mac mini is troubling. Yet it is working fine with your XP laptop. Which if you are using the same connection. Shows the connection is fine. There may be something blocking your mac uploads. We have seen that Mac specific applications such as "Glimmerblocker" have caused the errors you are seeing. Glimmerblocker is an ad blocking application. Please make sure you don't have any blocking applications/plug ins installed in the Mac.
If you have no blocking applications installed. Let us know if anything was different with the XP laptop's Internet connection. Versus the Mac's connection?
Have a wonderful day Mike :cavig

Can you please confirm what error message is shown within SmugMug's LR plugin when uploads fail ?
Thanks,

Steve, you nailed it!! Yes, that's exactly it. With GlimmerBlocker disabled, uploads work fine.
Now, is there any way to keep GlimmerBlocker running and still have uploading work? GlimmerBlocker is one of my most loved apps :-). One the problem is that upload.smugmug.com now redirects to amazonaws.com. I know, it's probably asking too much :-(.

David,
I've attached an image of the error window.
The files listed were the original files in the library even though I am uploading JPEGs.

Peter's diagnosis of the problem is that SmugMug's upload server sends the HTTP response headers before all of the upload is received, which is not technically a violation of the HTML spec but is not standard practice and may not work in general. The recommendation is that SmugMug fix this, but for now I do have a workaround.
I am posting this in the hope that someone else searching for a solution to this problem runs across it.

G'day Mike,
Thanks...yes, we'd have already identified the issue.
It should be working now without Peter's workaround.
Cheers,
