The Jobu Design Lens Collar Replacement Foot for the Canon 500F4 IS is designed to take the place of the factory foot on the collar of your lens. It features an Arca-Swiss style integrated foot, so no additional quick-release plates are needed. It will fit quick release clamps by Arca-Swiss, Jobu, Wimberley, Kirk and Markins.

I purchased this impulsively and later realized that I really don't need it as I already have a long Wimberley plate on my regular lens foot.
