A few spring birds

Had a chance to get out last week and got a few shots. These were taken on the north coast of Ohio at one of the best birding spots in the nation (Magee Marsh) during spring migration. I thought I would get a lot of great shots, but DANG, these little birds don't sit still for an instant! Go figure they were trying to fuel up on insects before crossing Lake Erie to go up in to Canada to breed.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I really like the last one with the male calling. The surrounding foliage is beautiful.

Very nice collection of warblers. They pretty much skipped us this migration.

Thanks RC. I didn't get out as much as I wanted, but from what I was hearing, we had an excellent migration this year. The cold rainy days seemed to hold them back, but when the winds changed to the S/SW, it was like the floodgates opened.

Thanks for the comments Pam. I really enjoy birding, now I just have to get my photo skills up to par to do those awesome little visitors justice.
