Two-eyed Birds

A recent thread got me interested in trying to get shots of birds with both eyes visible. This (of a red-bellied woodpecker) is a lame example, but I was clearly busted! Hand-held snapshot with 300mm f/2.8. No VR on this antique. Pretty much at my hand-holding limit, I think. :D

    In my experience, raptors are more likely to look at you...just to see if you might qualify as lunch.
