Google Analytics "Tracking Not Installed"

In "External Visitor Tracking" I did include the Google Analytics Web Property ID. But Google Analytics tells me Tracking Status: "Tracking Not Installed".

I did include the Google Analytics script in the Bottom JavaScript box, but in page source view (logged-out) it doesn't show up.

Where should I key in the script or is there any other recommendation to get Google Analytics count accurately?

No script needed - just put your UA code in the google analytics box in your control panel

The SmugMug statistics vary quiet a bit from GA statistics and I was concerned about the "Tracking Not Installed" error message. I assume there is nothing else I can do?
