Little Blue Herons feeding

Today in cell #3 at the Viera Wetlands I saw several Little Blue Heron in transition from juvenile to adult plumage. Here are some photos of feeding activity.....

    I have never seen this version of a little blue....and that bullfrog has seen better days....cool action!

    Really well done, great animal behavior, nice how the ripples on the lake are frozen.

    #1 is my favorite. They're not terribly pretty while changing colors.

    That frog looks like a pretty big meal for that little bird.
