Australian Hobby (not my hobby, but the name of a bird!)

Hi guys. I have not been around much lately, nor taking photos much for that matter. Our little toddler, building a new house, and work has been keeping me pretty occupied. But I saw this Australian Hobby perched on our neighbour's TV antenna the other day. He flew just as I got close enough to start shooting, but at least I got a half decent shot off of it.

Good capture Mike. I've missed you. Its a shame when life interferes with photography.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Looks like a type of falcon...cool flight shot...you got some nice wing extension. I hear you about being busy and doing "real" work.
