Replaced Image.......thanks Andy :D

During my stay in Montana, we covered hundreds of miles and saw some amazing scenes during our travels.

This shot was taken in the area around Yellowstone National Park.
Enjoy.......... Skippy (Australia)

it's lovely skippy - glad you like that 24mm :D

turn down the sharpening in your post-processing routine and it'll be even better...

There was another shed there, but there was something there that spoilt the shot if would have tried to include the other shed......I forget if it was a power pole, or some dumped rubbish (new not old) I just remember that I had to walk down the road a bit to get the shot.......thanks for looking :D

    Nicely done Skippy

Did you add any saturation to this? I would be intrested to see what a +5 in master saturation would do to it...
Love the composition. I have taken many photos of old homesteads up here in the north with iceman17. They are all 100+ years old...and while shooting them, I often wonder what it was like for the people who lived here...the kids...the pets, etc.

    Regards,

    Tony

ps are those critters 1/3 up bottom right? Looks like maybe a couple of elk to me.
If a tree falls in the forest...did anyone get a picture of it?

Hi Tony......... sorry no Elk, its some old farm machinery sitting around.
I was using a Hoya Moose's Pol filter which really did help, I'm pleased with the result.........it's amazing the amount of old buildings still standing when your travel throughout the United States, I was just in awe, gob smacked even......thanks for the comment....... Skippy (Australia)

Very nice shot Skippy. Love the colors and comp.

I guess we have so much land that we don't knock down the old just for knocking it down. Unless it's being developed, it just gets abandoned. One thing I like about Nevada is all the old ghost towns, many with buildings still standing.

Looking forward to more of your shots,
    Chris

I would have liked to have taken more time there......
We didn't have the time to stop at many of the places I would have liked to have stopped at, people like us (photolovers) see things differently as we drive along as someone who is not interested in photography :D

It was a very pretty place, thanks for looking....... Skippy (Australia)
