The New Sketch Artist.

I noticed that they got new sketch artists at the SeaWorld compound in San Antonio, TX when we visited it the 2nd time. Took some shots of one of the new guys while he's "in the zone". :D

Nikon D70, Nikon 18-70mm lens set at 31mm, Exposure at ISO 200, f4 at 1/800 second, Matrix Metering in Aperture Priority Mode, Color Processed in LR 3.
Sitting quietly, doing nothing. Spring comes and the grass grows by itself.

    wow - real time...an artist showing an artist! Nice job! He ought to use you for advertisement! I have always thought hand drawing, painting, sculpting and the like is really a 'gifted' art...no mechanics... not that a mechanical thing hinders one's artistic ability at all...but it fascinates me that someone can convey by hand what they see.iloveyou.gif

    Thanks, Eia. I really admire these guys. They may not get paid very well on what they do (I think they go by commissions) but the joy they bring to their clients with their humorous caricatures is priceless. I think they also share the same discipline that we practicioners of photography do- we pre-visualize. :Dthumb.gif
