This is the new guy to the yard. A Noisy Friarbird. He has only been dropping by the last few days and hope he hangs around a bit longer.

Galah's are always here making a mess :wxwax

The Eastern Rosella's are just cool as :thumb This is a couple (male closest)

We have lots more passers by like crested pigeons, magpies (harass the other birds) and brush wattle birds. But I'll try and catch them after.

Thanks for looking :):

Good shots. I wish I had those photo ops in my backyard.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Nice shots. That first bird is a little on the odd looking side uhoh2.gif

Must be awesome to have such neat creatures to photograph so close by.

Great shots LD....i have birds everywhere & my lens is still away. Not many friar birds around here..good catch.

I was at a job in bris yesterday just in the middle of the burbs when 2 channel billed cuckoos landed 30 feet from me at head height. I got a big enough thrill from it without a camera. Never had them so close.

    You may recognise their call.
