The Hershey PA Antique Auto Show is the end of this week if you are in the mid-atlantic area and are interested. It's the world’s largest antique car flea market, car corral and car show and it's the 50th anniversary of the show.

The Antique Automobile Club of America Fall Meet is free and the AACA association HQ and musuem is right in Hershey, PA. Parking does cost about $10 to be fairly close. At the moment the weather looks to be nice - crisp and cool with a possible shower in the AM

It's not the easiest to shoot - unless you want people and unappealing elements in your pics. There are 2000 antique autos to see on about 130 acres of space. There's also lots of other things to see in Hershey (and chocolate to eat!)

I'm going at dawn on Sat (the best day to go). Here's a simple shot from my gallery from last year:

I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.

Weather update: looks like lots of rain today and tomorrow at the car show - not sure if I want to threaten the D70's water-resistant capabilities (as it really doesn't have any) - remnants of TS Tammy.:cry
