I found these a bit too heavy for traveling and settled with a few lighter ones. These tripods are very good and durable, they are similar to Gitzo and can support a tons! I might also be getting rid of a Feisol CF tripod later, but that is still under consideration.
C-258EX: This tripod features 4 sections, max height is 61", normal height is 52.4" and folded height is 19.9". It supports up to 26.4 lbs. Price is $270 shipped with Paypal gift option (otherwise add 3%). These are about $325 new.
C-198M8: This tripod features center column convertible into a lateral arm, which is great for macro or landscape shooting. It has 4 sections, max height is 65.8", normal height is 51.6", folded height is 19.7" and supports up to 13.2 lbs. Price is $260 shipped with paypal gift option (otherwise add 3%). These are about $315 or more new.
