I took a weekend trip to the Texas Hill Country. I still have to process many photos but here is a sample of what I saw.

    Very nice collection. I especially like the painted bunting. I have never seen one of these before.

    I would assume so and even more confusing is that the gorget is actually a bright purple when it shines, black otherwise, hence the name. :D
