    this has huge potential.
It's hard to tell the child is holding a gun, at least that's what I see. It is a gun right, I imagine a toy gun, though it doesn't look like a toy.
I do like the comp and the man coming into the image, I like the position she's in with the classic open mouth one eye shot pose, it's so playful, but so out of place.

The image needs to be reworked, maybe black and white, the colors are kind of dull. This type image needs to slap you in the face, but it somehow doesn't.

    Clear as mud?

If it were NYC, a (toy) gun might be reasonable but since it's Holland, I'm guessing it's a cell phone and she's taking her own picture. ne_nau.gif The ambiguity is good. I'd also like to see B&W version.

If you look at her finger you can clearly see what looks like a trigger guard.

I am not sure if I like the picture or notheadscratch.gifscratch

I zoomed in and the more I look at it the less it looks like a gun and the more it looks like Richards answer.

    Thanks for all your comments.

I had a bit of the same mixed feelings as lizzard_nyc had. The gun (yep, it's a black toy gun) is not clear enough because of the black door in the background. I'll try to rework this in a black and white version, good idea. Never thought of converting to B&W because I shot this on Fuji colour negative :-)

    Thanks again.

I was having a hard time getting into the colour version. It was indistinct. B&W works so much better in this instance. It almost felt like you'd cropped it, bringing the action closer.
