Remembering a son

At the cemetery yesterday, a mother placed flowers at her son's space in the wall.

It might be a few days early but I guess it is never to early to remember those that gave their lives for our country.

    I get the image with your explanation, without your explanation it's just some flowers on a wall.

    I get where you were going with this, but it just doesn't work as an image for me, but yes the sentiment is powerful.

    I tried to capture her at the wall but I did not want to upset her. I could not figure out how to catch the engraved stone and flower attachment and the mother without causing a problem.

    You are right, without my informing you of what was taking place, you would never know. Thanks for the comments.
