Hi folks,

I wandered over to the Phoenix Park today and snapped this with the 400 5.6. It is a full frame pic:

He is too big and the antlers looked too sharp for me to risk pulling the tags off

Hey Steve, I was walking through the woods and he was lying down in the undergrowth. He stood up as I trampled noisly along (no Daniel Boone blood in my veins mwink.gif ). I think we both got a fright, thankfully he stood still long enough for me to take a couple of frames.

Good capture Shay. I bet that with the clone tool and healing brush you could make it look the stag never met an ear tag, :D

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

He was a big one. I'm glad he decided to walk away, I don't think my monopod would have put a dent in him mwink.gif .

Thanks for the suggestion Harry but it's too much hard work headscratch.gif . I know how to do a few basic things in elements, anything else confuses meheadscratch.gifmwink.gif
