I tried to search for this first but didn't have any luck. sorry if this has been asked a million times. probably has but such is the life of a forum newbie :-)

is there any way i can copy pics from one gallery to another in bulk (1500 in the gallery) and have that new gallery be unlisted, password protected and remove the watermarks from them? My agreement with the event sponsor is that they can have access to all images for the event to use for promotional purposes (with photo credit of course) i would like it to be easier for them to view the images without the watermark in the way. i could always post them up twice but that is very time consuming....... thanks for your support!

I haven't exactly played with this, but it sounds like you may be able to use the collect photos feature for this, leaving the unwatermarked images in the unlisted protected gallery and then watermarking them in the collected gallery. Someone that's tried this would have a better idea than me.

I'm pretty sure watermarking the collected gallery would watermark them in the original gallery. I can't think of any other way besides re-uploading to the new gallery. I've often wished for some way to do something similar.

No, it cannot be done this way, Samir. Collected photos ALWAYS obey the properties of the original gallery. If they are watermarked in the original gallery they are watermarked in the collected gallery.

Good to know. thumb.gif I always knew that the properties of the collected gallery inherited those of the original gallery, but thought that you could make certain changes like maximum size M if the original was XL. headscratch.gif
