Here are a few from the Warbirds Over the Beach military aviation show this past Sunday. If you are looking for the beach, it is a few miles to the east of the flight area. :rofl C&C welcomed. Oh, please excuse the watermark being distracting, I'm playing around with a new one and haven't quite got it where I want it. :D

Cool shots! I wonder what it costs to take that P47 up for an hour. Man I'll bet that thing is thirsty.

    Am I missing something? I don't see a photo with a P-47 in it...

    Nice shots by the way.

    Nice colours and Panning.

I'd like to see the tiger moth cropped closer myself but the shot of the Corsair with the gear half way up is very different and interesting

P-47? I don't see it either. Grumman Avenger maybe? TBF or TBM? I also like the Corsair shot. Mind telling us what you were shooting with?

The shot of the "Turkey" takes me back. I spent two summers flying them as spray planes for Spruce Bud Worm on the East cost of canada. Love to get my grimy paws on that Corsair!

#2 cropped, watermark and all would make a great business card.

    Great shots.

Oops. #4 is a Corsair, not a "Jug." Actually, I thought it looked a bit slim for a Thunderbolt, and I guess I didn't look closely enough. Who ever saw a Jug with a tailhook? rolleyes1.gif

I'm not sure about any of the other fighters but my friend figures it runs him about $500 to $600 an hour to fly his P-51. I'd never tell him but, every time we go up in it, I'd willingly pay him more than that just for the thrill of it.

    Nice shots.

Thanks for the comments y'all. Honestly I'm not an expert on planes - I just know they look real purty flying!
