embeded custom sizes not working with blogger

Hi,

my smugmug is www.mikeks.smugmug.com
my blog is www.blog.michaelsimonitsch.com
my website is www.michaelsimonitsch.com and is managed by photobiz.

Usually i can custom size the embeded images on my blog but as of about a month ago no matter what i put at the end of the url in place of the " -L.jpg " it stays at the standard " L " size

I usually put something like <a><img src="http://mikeks.smugmug.com/photos/i-S9JnGcs/0/L/i-S9JnGcs-L.jpg"></a&gt; and replace it with <a><img src="http://mikeks.smugmug.com/photos/i-S9JnGcs/0/L/i-S9JnGcs-1000x1000.jpg"></a&gt; and i would have a nice sized custom image on my blog. However no matter what i do lately it's always the same size. why?

Image URLs have changed and you have to modify the URLs for new images differently now to change the size. See http://www.smugmug.com/help/custom-photo-sizes for details.

http://mikeks.smugmug.com/photos/i-S9JnGcs/0/1000x1000/i-S9JnGcs-1000x1000.jpg

Why has Smug made this so complicated? This type link worked great and still does.

Why are they hiding the photo number in the new share photo links? It has to
be dug out of the page source now for some style pages.
That link is what is returned for unlisted galleries but works everywhere.
Why is it not on the help page?
