I went out the other day to capture some herons before they fly south.On the way to my spot I noticed these two bucks having a snack in a farmers field.I didn't find the herons but these two made the trip worth while.

Just out having a snack,I managed to fire off a few photo's of these two

    The first one has a wonderful 3-dimensional quality to it. Very nice.

    Thanks everyone,I only wish I could have been closer.All were @ 500mm and cropped....ice

    ice - one possible suggestion...
    i know you said it was cropped, but I would lose the sky and distant trees in the first shot - something like this if you have the room to crop a tad further - and I think it would look great....hope you don't mind my borrowing the image to respond....

    Hi Lucky dog,I was using the Sigma 50-500mm (Bigma) at 500mm focal length and F 7.1.Thanks for lookin...ice
