Love shooting clouds, not much on the tornado/hail aspect that they can produce (and did on this one). Got these last night:

    I love number 1! great colors
    #3 has good foreground, I just wish there was more lightning :]

    many thanks, on #3, i was shooting handheld bracing off the mailbox and kept hoping for the best before the nasty stuff came back.. but alas, i was happy to get anything in bolt form. thanks for checking them out.

    wow - to #1. That is just ominous. Are those true colors? I think that would even look good in black/white.

    Hi Eia - thanks, and yes, those are pretty close to the actual colors, i did a slight level adjustment to the black point.. but that's about it.

    thanks, these were about the size we were getting here, i heard of softball size about 30 miles from home.

    Nice set thumb.gif That 1st one is something to behold. Scary just knowing what
    can come out of it. 2 and 3 show that well. 3 is a cool capture too :D

    but i do have a few others that i haven't done anything with yet.. maybe i'll see if any of them are worth spending the time on.

    one more - i had every intention of doing a bw version .. but none of them seemed to be a fit. I did a 10 min post job this, it's kinda noisy.. but still interesting i thought

    nice shots. I got one shot I liked from that same evening but the sirens starting going off so I stopped. They went off 4 times in GP but no damage.

    thanks - ours went off 4 times in keller as well, i would rather see it coming though so i stay outside until the last possible min.
