Retreating out of the Mountains

So there's snow in the mountains, but the lower climbing areas are still clear, and we're still climbing, for now. icon10.gif Went out yesterday to Weiner Lake and got in enough bouldering to wear us out. None of the pictures are incredible, but I figured I'd share anyway. Enjoy!

Poised for the throw again.

Highballs on soapstone. Interesting rock, there's practically no friction at all.

Another problem on the same rock.

Getting acrobatic through the roof.

I'm glad to see you guys using a fall pad. Looks like it would still hurt if you fell. Free climbing or rope climbing is definitely not for me. I have no problems with heights, but it just creeps me out.

Give me a helicopter and I'll conquer any mountain:D.

    Nice series,
    Chris

A picture is but words to the eyes.

CC, you have to remember, what you take for granted is stuff we've not
    seen :D

I'll take your definition any day of the week thumb.gif

Here's hoping you get some more climbing in before real winter sets in.

Haha, thanks man. Should be heading out in less than an hour for TODAY'S panicky season-is-ending session. rolleyes1.gif I'll have to post up on that when I make it back home again in a couple days, if I get the time.
