Any one know of a way to fix this spot on her face...not sure how it got there...but it's the only picture I have of these two from prom night:

do you have any other pictures of the girl? if oyu do, you could use those as a "donor" image and pull part of her face into this image..

If it's a "convincing" facsimile that's usually good enough, even for enlargements. It's true that people are rarely perfectly symmetrical on both sides of their bodies, but without a direct comparison this might be good enough to fly.

Thanks ziggy, however it is easy with a low resolution image...the hi-res is where all the fun begins!
I am not sure if the "distort" concern was in regards to copying the face from another similar shot, or in regards to my suggestion of using the good side to cover the bad. As you say ziggy, people are not generally perfectly symmetrical - which is why I mentioned distorting the flipped/rotated face (just a little bit). One can use liquify or other tools to make an eye smaller or larger etc. One does not have to use the entire face, one can layer mask out what is not needed and only use just enough to cover the lens flare hotspot.
