Canon 5d battery question? HELP! SOS!

Hi all,
So I have a shoot coming up Sunday which will require a couple of batteries--all day shoot.
I have a canon 5D w/ a canon battery a bP511A.
I have an off brand charger which works beautifully w/ it. A Pearstone adaptor that "fits CAN BP511/512 and BP522/535".
I went and got a new battery from Adorama a couple of days ago, showed them my charger, told them it was off brand, and they gave me an off brand battery for it (i didn't mind, saves a few bucks)--but it won't fit!!!!
I tried charging it last night.

I can't get to Adorama or B&H before they close today and they are closed tomorrow--Willoughbys charges a fortune (but may have to go that route). I have access to a rebel series camera, the latest one--do those batteries also fit the canon 5D?

Nevermind folks. Problem fixed--Adorama is open til 5:00 today--I didn't know they changed their schedule. I just called to confirm.

We change early closing with the onset of EST

Current Store Hours:
Sun. 9:30am to 5:00pm
Mon. - Thurs. 9:00am to 8:00pm
Fri. 9:00am to 5:00pm
