Nice review. I had this lens for about 2 years and it did great for indoor shots of my then toddler.
I had to send my copy to Sigma twice for calibration - once due to frontfocus. And immediately back because they fixed the front focus so well it no longer focused at infinity. After that it was a real gem of a lens. It seemed to need a +1/3 EV adjustment most of the time. I only sold it to help pay for the 17-55/2.8 IS. As the kids grew a zoom ended up being the preferable lens.

Nice review, but I wonder about the available market is for this lens when Nikon makes an *excellent* 35mm DX for $199. Canon and Sony, sure. but you've lost a large % with Nikon having a better lens available.
