Newly emerged narcissusfly hoverfly

Spotted what I thought was dead tawny miner bee on a grass stem but turned out to be a newly emerged narcissus fly hoverfly that was expanding it's wings. About 20 minutes between first and last shots.

Cuong - quite a few insects that go near pollen have hairy eyes - I suspect it is to make it easier to clean the pollen off but don't know.
