Hi,
Went out with the idea of photographing some shapes thrown up in the architecture in Liverpool city centre.
Here's a few from that.

Nice work, Dave. Well seen and photographed. I particularly like the second one....the inclusion of the figure in red really helps make that shot a standout one.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Thanks Tom, I have that one without the figure in it, and I'm torn between which I like best. There you go though, it's all subjective huh?

Yep. I'm with Tom on this one, though. The splash of red is great.

#2 is my favorite, although I like them all. Nice shots.

Hi Dave, I like #1 & #2, interesting lines. The splash of red certainly adds colour :D

    Cheers, Richard.

They're all great, and yes, #2 is special.

It'd be helpful if you numbered your images when you post a bunch.

Like the abstract theme. The angular lines enclosed by the parallel in #1 and #2 really draw you in. The juxtaposition of the passenger and the stairs in #2 is excellent.

Thanks everyone. I watched the person walk about 100yds hoping they'd get on the escalator. Apolgies for not numbering them, I've fixed that.
Just one other thing. The shot below (which I only saw after reviewing the RAW files again,) shows the figure right at the VEE of the staircase. That's better symmetry I think.
    Regards
    Dave
