Cycle of Life

Hi all. I'm usually over in modeling threads but here's a story from the Wolf Conservation Center in New York. My wife and I are volunteers there.

Over an 11 month period we lost 3 of our 4 Ambassador wolves:

Our remaining Ambassador and travelling wolf is Atka. Aside from programs at the Wolf Center, he does about 150 appearances a year at schools, libraries and the like:

AND NOW, to complete the Cycle, these guys arrived two days ago:

We still miss our lost wolves but it's time to move forward and these two are the future for the Wolf Center

    John, thnx for sharing your photos of the beautiful wolves. So hard to lose them! I bet you and your wife treasure your time with wildlife. I know i do. Take care.

    Thanks Linda. You're correct, we appreciate the time we get to spend with these magnificent creatures.
    My wife travels with Atka on his off sites and she always comes back smiling.

    UPDATE: Linda, I just went through your Smug site. You are an amazing wildlife photographer. You must have incredible patience.

    Hi john, thnx for the kind comment, yes, i watch paint dry quite often! Lol love it all. I enjoy watching children learn about respecting wildlife also! ;)

    I did visit a wolve center here, and i have to say i felt sorry for them. If it wasnt so far away i,d volunteer there!
