My son just got an Iphone and has been showing me all the largely useless apps and games he has downloaded.
I'm wondering if there is anything that is actualy useful for serious photography?

I had a look on the web and found a lot of stuff to make the pics you take on the phone into funky colours and crap like that but I'm wondering if there is anything thats useful in a practical sense?

I'd love to be able to connect my camera to the thing and and use it for wireless image transmission or anything else which could make use of the things power on the job.

Here's is the one I have heard about...It basically controls you camera remotely when it is hooked up to computer. could be nice for studio work..

It used to be alot cheaper so it is what it is...

I downloaded a dof calculator for the heck of it...

    Thanks Jon, That looks great.
The young fella is right into HDR so I'm sure he will like the bracketing feature. I'll get him to download that one for sure. :D
