Macro Berry

It's interesting how situations will force you to use a non-macro lens in a macro situation. I didn't have my 85mm macro with me for this hike through the woods but my 18-200mm VRII is very versatile.
I think the birds and critters of the woods mainly eat these tiny berries that are everywhere on the small hiking trail I was walking. The tiny colorful flowers might help identifying the berry variety if I knew of such things.
