Shot this during the Nevada State fair. Pretty much a straight shot but boosted the colors in LAB (having too much fun there).

Did I overdue the colors? I've looked at it too long and it grew on me:dunno. Your comments are appreciated.

No, in my opinion you didn't overdo the colors. The crop is a bit tight, but otherwise, it's a great shot!

    Thanks Rich and Ana,
After posting this, I looked back at the original and came to the conclusion that it's not overdone. Actually, it's a big improvement (original can be seen here) on many levels. I had to laugh when my wife asked me if I had stacked shots to get this. She's picking up things way too fast.

I agree that some negative space around the wheel would be nice, but my back was against the fence with nowhere else to go. My kit lens would have given me more space, but it's too slow to hand hold in that lighting.

    Thanks again for your comments,

I really enjoy the time delay on all these photos. I have never thought about shooting rides at fairs. Thanks for the ideas........

Night shots of Flat Rides are one of my favorite things to photograph. Here's one at Belmont Park about 15-20 minutes from my house.

    Hey Formerly Karz,
I have a shot very similar to this one taken at the State Fair. I did a three shot pano of it and stitched it together. That's as far as I got since the wheels had moved some, the stitching isn't perfect. Maybe I'll process it anyway and post it.

Thanks for the comment Robert. All done hand held; I was quite suprised that I was able to get this shot.

    Hi Steven,
After drinking a few Red Bulls, don't they all look like that without them running:D.

    Hi Jim,
Thanks for the thumbs up on it. I was quite surprised myself that it turned out as well as I think it did.
What scanner are you using to scan your 35mm's, as in your fair shot? Meant to ask on the other thread.
