I shot my first Baseball game with my 5D Mark II, 70-200L Mark II, and while there was enough light with my 2XIII Extender. Check out my Gallery Here and Tell me what you think (or Not):

my advice is: if you want feedback, take the time to link to several (5 or 6) photos - not an entire gallery. If you can't take the time to select 5 or 6 photos that you think represent the entire gallery, why should others take the time to link over and go through page upon page of your gallery? Also, when posting the images here, it is helpful to number the images so people providing feedback can reference the photo by number. Looking forward to seeing some of your images!

    I agree with johng.

The few pics on the first page I did look at were pretty flat, soft, and lacking pop. I quickly grew irritated by the terrible user interface of the gallery (as bad or worse than flickr, and that is saying something) and I left. I also wish I could see the exif. Get on Smugmug!

An "accurate" reproduction of a scene and a good photograph are often two different things.

I didn't look at all of them, just kind of poked around but I did notice some shots with awkward framing. There are some shots of a pitcher warming up in the bullpen and what looks like a coach's jacket is covering part of the foreground, same with the shot during the national anthem, you got someone's head completely blurred out right in the middle. Or like... some shots of a batter taking a swing show just a little bit of the catcher on the left side and a bunch of empty field on the right, while some other ones have the catcher entirely in the frame and the batter more centered. It just looks weird to me to see half of someone's face just peeking in to the frame. And another one with a fielder waiting for a ball while a runner is taking off, and there is nothing to look at on literally the entire right half of the photo. There's just kind of a lot of empty space in a good amount of them.
