I like the first one a lot. There's so much going on and the body language of the pretzel vendor says he couldn't care less. I think I would desaturate the reds a bit, except maybe for the woman on the left's hat.

Nice pic!! What is the story behind her? Is that a promo for the new TV show "Pan Am" ?

I first thought of Pan Am, too.

Love the first with the cheerleader enthusiasm and her position in the frame (and who is that woman on the left edge?). Second is not as strong, but love her being totally ignored by all.

    Hi Richard,
    Thank you for commenting.

NOw I know how to desaturate only portions and will work on the reds.

As top your comment, "so much going on", that's why I like the second shot because you can see the crazy crowd behind her. Times Square was packed for fleet week.

    Close!
She was advertising for "Catch me if you can" which is showing on Broadway. This shot was taken in Times Square.

I had not heard of Pan Am, will have to look into it.

    Thank you!

    Rainbow,
I tell you, the lady couldn't get attention if her life depended on it. She was doing side kicks, back kicks, saluting, smiling from ear to ear, hiking her skirt as smidge and nothing!!!! and she was really pretty too.

The woman on the left was her counterpart working the other end of the sidewalk. I have a good candid of both laughing as they dig into the bags, I will have to get that one.

The one who was getting all the attention was "The naked cowboy"

    Thank you.
