Navigating the reeds

It's amazing how the Least Bittern can navigate the reeds with such ease.......

    Good capture Ira and very apt point. I have always been amazed at how perfectly the bitterns feet have evolved for their environment.

    Thank you, Harry. I think that the long curved toenails on the feet of a Least Bittern is what gives them the ability to move through the reeds with such ease.
